Seeing Delilah for the first time.  Hey...it was still my turn!  Boy babies sure are tiring!

Kody holding Delilah for the first time.  Her hand is moving!!!  Mom...help!!!  Am I doing this right?

Halloween:

Kody's preschool class had a Halloween program for the parents.

Kody telling the parents what he was dressed up as for Halloween.  The class singing a song.  Oops...Kody was a little behind!  Having fun singing.

Helping Emma figure out what to do!  Making a goodie bag.  Playing a Halloween hot potato game.  Kody'd goodie bag...now will someone come fill it up?

Who knew a Halloween party could be so exhausting???

13 Oct 2008:

Here is Kody's very first school picture.

Preschool

Don't you just love the fake smile?

20 Aug 2008:

What a rough birthday for Kody!!!  To start school on your birthday hardly seems fair, but he handled it like a big boy and was super excited to go!

Deer in the headlights what am I doing up this early look!  And having some milk with breakfast.

Making silly faces while mom is trying to get a good first day of school photo.

Taking first day of school pictures with Angel.  Look mom...really I'm bigger than Angel, especially when I raise my arms.  Did we really have to get up early for this?  He he he...look at mom getting frustrated with my silliness!

Getting my backpack ready.  Dad trying to adjust my straps.  Finally ready to go...check me out...aren't I cool???

Out the door we go!!!  To the car...look at Angel being bossy.  Yeash!  Boy could this car trip take a little longer, I mean it's only 15 miles!!!

Finally at the school!!  Hurry up dad!!!

Walking the hallways to find my class.  Here is my teacher, so where do I put my bag?  Ahhh...right here!

Here is my class room.  Here I am trying to find my seat. Then my teacher gave me a puzzle...she gave Emma one too.  Not fair!  Oh...you are leaving???  Bye!

Whoo hooo!  I get to be the classroom king today since it is my birthday.  Everyone loves me and wants to be my friend, the cupcakes I brought have nothing to do with it either!

After school mom made me my favorite meal, spaghetti!  Then she let me open my present early!!!  Hey.....why only one???

Alright already...give me my present.  Geeze mom...did you forget to wrap it?  What is this????  Oh....a new blanket!!!!  It has Lightening  from Cars on it!!!!!!!

Thanks mom!!!  No Emma, you can't have my blanket!  Whoo hooo...it is long enough that I can play Superman!!!

As if it wasn't bad enough to start school on my birthday, I also had to have blood drawn the day before my birthday party at Nana and Papa's!

The nurses did give me some cool stuff like this costume.  Oh and they gave Emma one too...boy is she spoiled!

Finally!  Party day at Nana and Papa's house!

Mom made me a Superman cake and then surprised me by decorating around it!!!  I love Superman!!!

Boy look at all this cake!  Nana...what are you doing with those matches???  Oh look this piece fell off...really.  Hey look at the little Superman toys!

Finally they let me eat some cake!

Whoo hooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Presents!!!  Hmmm...Emma is sneaking around trying to open them too.

Wow...nice wrapping paper, but did you have to use so much tape???  Wow!  A fire truck shirt!!!

Wait...Emma that is my shirt!  I can't open the rest of my presents if you are stealing it!

29 Jul 2008:

Kody had a little trouble on our vacation to Kentucky.  The poor kid was car sick every time we turned around.  Thank goodness for the invention of the medications for car sickness!  His favorite part of the trip was the stop at Dinosaur World!  Here are a few fun Kody vacation pics.

Kody cheesing for the family cameras!  Kody getting to know the distant cousins.  Kody starting to wear out from all the reunion fun.

(Would you believe that Angel actually took these bottom three pictures???   She did!)

31 Mar 2008:

Kody got to go to Preschool Roundup this past week!  He was very excited because he got to ride with Dada and Angel to the school.  He spent an hour in Dada's office until it was time to meet the teachers and see the classrooms for preschool.  He told me it was a lot of fun.  He liked playing with the other kids and with all the cool toys!  He was pretty upset this morning when he didn't get to go to school too.  He doesn't want to wait until next fall!!!

Here are a couple of Pictures of him getting ready for roundup.  Dada took the camera with him, but forgot to take some pics at school.  :(

Kody getting dressed.                 Kody making silly faces in excitement!

Just like Uncle Billy Ray!!!!!!!!  Goofy faces and all!

Kody has been a pretty good boy this year.  It has been kind of tough for him as he has been working on potty training, but I think we have him finally on his way.  He has the occasional accident now, but it is getting much less often.  The cute thing is that he is now starting to clean up his accidents.  He doesn't like it when it happens and he really doesn't like for me to know because then he gets his pooh bear taken away.  So he grabs a towel and cleans it up!  Finally a man who cleans up around the toilet!!! lol

Kody has also been enjoying his new room in the new house.  His other room was so boring compared to this one!  This room has it's own hidden door with a secret playroom (no one tell him that it is really a storage closet.  We just took the second storage room for our stuff that we needed to store and gave the kids the one for a playroom!).  He likes to hide in there and play where momma can't find him.

Kody turned three years old on the day Angel went to her first day of school!  It was a rough day for him despite the fact that it was his birthday.  He wasn't too sure that he wanted Angel to go to school.  He started crying almost as soon as we left the school, begging me to go back and get her.  The only thing that made him stop crying was the promise that he could help with his birthday cake.

Pics left to right:  Kody's cake with the Lightening candle.  The Mater and Lightening candies on his cake.  Kody seeing his cake for the first time!

For his birthday, we gave Kody a Lightening and Mater cake.  It was topped with a cute Lightening candle.  I think it was his favorite homemade birthday cake so far!  We had spaghetti, garlic bread, and green beans for dinner which is his favorite meal.  He specifically asked for it when we were at the grocery store picking up some last minute things we needed for his birthday party.

Kody grinning ear to ear about his cake!

Nana, Papa, and the missionaries from our church came over to help us celebrate Kody's birthday.  Because we had just moved into town, Kody had not made too many friends yet.  But boy did he love having Nana and Papa there!  They brought him lots of presents from other members of the family too!

Clockwise from top left:  Kody chilling while his presents are brought out.  Kody loving his new pooh bear shirt.  Cool Kody.  Kody opening his presents.  Emma wishing she could have some of those presents.
